But when we see this in actual examples, I am able to develop a whole new understanding. Excellent blog. It's amazing how quick I am to give up my prayer time because I usually don't wake up with enough time to sit down and pray and before bed I usually just want to get right to sleep. It's crazy how discombobulated your life can become when your prayer life slacks. And it's easier to feel like a bigger slacker during lent when we are supposed to be stepping up our game! It's sooo easy to make excuses and fall back on our forgiving, gracious God and I think I do that too much also. But the best part is that each day is a new opportunity and a fresh start. So let's begin again today =)Melhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11430961464748843742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7983363671082835074.post-40489677333972649012013-03-08T16:35:43.310-05:002013-03-08T16:35:43.310-05:00Don't be too hard on yourself! I like what you wrote about how if we were perfect we might not know God. I agree -- if we were already perfect, we wouldn't need God or each other. However, in our incompleteness we do need God and community. I'll continue to ponder this today.

-- Leslie Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04283001383016853424noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7983363671082835074.post-46803754220670860912012-10-17T13:03:42.767-04:002012-10-17T13:03:42.767-04:00Such a great reminder Kathe! It's so crazy how we are the body of Christ and since Jesus can't physically, personally be in the flesh with us today, it's kind of up to us to be his hands and feet. And you're so right, it is a ripple. When you look at your actions as a chain, it makes everything even that much more meaningful. It's good to start the chain but also we might be in the middle. It's good to reflect on what other people did for you so that you can be inspired to pass it along, just like you said.
