It's amazing how quick I am to give up my prayer time because I usually don't wake up with enough time to sit down and pray and before bed I usually just want to get right to sleep. It's crazy how discombobulated your life can become when your prayer life slacks. And it's easier to feel like a bigger slacker during lent when we are supposed to be stepping up our game! It's sooo easy to make excuses and fall back on our forgiving, gracious God and I think I do that too much also. But the best part is that each day is a new opportunity and a fresh start.
